At West Calgary Periodontics, we want you to feel like you are part of our extended family. That is why your periodontal visit will be a special one-on-one visit with Dr. Tom Wierzbicki. That way you will have all the time necessary to discuss your periodontal health concerns with him.

We will always try to keep your visit as efficient as possible, ensuring that it starts on time and ends on time. We always follow up every visit so that you can provide us with your feedback on how we can further improve on meeting the needs of ALL our patients.

Our goal is to keep you aware of your periodontal health needs. To accomplish this, we keep in touch with our patients via whatever technology they are most comfortable with. Q) Do you offer direct billing?

We do not offer direct billing. However, we are happy to submit a claim to your insurance company on your behalf, so that you can be reimbursed as soon as possible. Patients are typically reimbursed within a few business days after the claim has been submitted.

Q) What costs will my insurance provider cover?

Insurance policies and coverages vary. At your request, we will submit for a pre- treatment estimate of coverage, that will serve as a guide of your insurance coverage, and potential out-of-pocket expenses. By law, the pre-treatment estimate of coverage is sent to you. Let our office know once you have received it, and we will assist in reviewing its details with you.

Q) What is a pre-treatment estimate of coverage?

A pre-treatment estimate of coverage, also known as a pre-determination, provides you with an estimate of your insurance coverage, and potential out-of-pocket expenses for your treatment. It may take up to 6 weeks to receive a response to pre- treatment estimates from your insurance provider, and the response will be sent directly to you.

We require payment in full at the time of treatment. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Interac® debit.
